We are pleased to announce that Scott Riffenburgh, a recognized leader in the energy management and green building space, has joined the Xpera member network as a sustainability expert.
For over 20 years, Scott has been planning, managing and executing sustainable development and business programs in Southern California, including a wide range of commercial, institutional and multifamily residential projects. He has founded and led two corporations and developed business models for companies entering the sustainability sector.
As a specialist in energy efficiency and sustainable building practices, his extensive list of accreditations includes LEED-AP, Green Point Rated Buildings (multifamily); HERS I and HERS II; Certified Energy Analyst (CEA); Title-24 Certified Energy Plans Examiner (CEPE– commercial and residential); Building Performance Institute (multifamily building analyst); and Energy Star Rater (EPA).
He has served as a board member of the BIA’s Building Resources Council and as a member of its Housing Affordability Committee. He holds a bachelor’s degree in bioscience and computer/control systems technology from the University of California, and studied science and technology at the University of Maryland’s campus in Munich, Germany, and construction management at San Diego State University.
As a member of the Xpera team, he will lend his expertise to help portfolio managers, building owners and developers advance their sustainability initiatives.
