Posted by on

The Xpera team of experts continues to grow to bring more specialized expertise to our clients. We recently welcomed our newest member, Fay Lorraine Sueltz, AIA, CASI, to assist clients with ADA compliance issues.

With degrees from USC and Columbia University, she brings over 30 years of architectural experience to the team and is also a Certified Access Specialist for the State of California. Her accessible design work pre-dates the 1991 ADA law, informed by personal relationships within the disabled community. She has completed more than 200 preliminary and final CASp reports to help clients avoid civil and federal lawsuits for ADA non-compliance.

Her design work has included projects for UCLA, UC Santa Barbara, University of Nevada–Las Vegas and American University in Washington D.C., as well as the Pfizer La Jolla Campus, medical and professional office buildings, and three churches in the San Diego area.

The Americans with Disabilities Act was signed into federal law 25 years ago. To read Fay's article on the implications of this historic measure, visit www.xperagroup.com/ADA25.
