This Saturday, November 12th, Xpera CM's project, Lofts on Landis was featured in San Diego Green Building Council's 2016 Green Homes Tour as a celebration of sustainability. It is the only multi-family affordable housing development to be on the tour.
The Lofts on Landis apartments was started in March 2014 by Wakeland Housing Development. The development in Chula Vista focused on bringing health and sustainability to economically disadvantaged families. It has just achieved the prestigious status of becoming LEED Platinum certified, as well as earning EPA Indoor airPLUS, EPA Energy Star, and participated in the California Advanced Homes Program.
Xpera CM provided the project management and owner's representation through the development's grand opening in March of 2016.
Xpera CM and Wakeland have worked together on four projects including the Lofts on Landis. On July 14th, Atmosphere project celebrated their topping off ceremony and earlier in May, the former military barracks Camp Anza had its grand opening.
For the past seven years, the San Diego Green Building Council organized the Green Homes Tour. This year they had 10 prestigious projects throughout San Diego County from Pacific Beach to as far as Ramona and Campo. This self-guided tour brought hundreds of members from the green building and construction industries to celebrate the best practices in design and showcasing the work of success stories.
Xpera is grateful to have the project showcased among some of the best sustainable projects built this year and looks forward to serve more clients reach their ambitious goals.
